FAQ

  • I don’t have a large budget, but I need branding for my business, do you have payment plans?

We certainly do. We can organise payment installments that will suit your budget.

  • What is your mural process?

First of all, we love to meet you in person, the best place would be where you’d like your mural so we can talk about the space, the colours, and your vision. After we have photographed and measured the space, we will send through a quote. Once approved, we will get started with concepts for the mural and mock them up using the photos we have taken of the space. As soon as you approve the design and colours, we will organise a schedule to come paint! You can learn more about our processes here.

  • How do you quote murals?

Our mural quotes are based on the surface area, timeline, the number of colours (amount of paint needed), and materials. Feel free to send us an enquiry and we can organise a catch-up.

  • Do you have Retainer Packages?

We do! These are the perfect option for businesses that have enough Marketing content on a monthly basis but don’t want to hire a full-time Designer. If you’d like to find out what different Packages we offer, please send us an enquiry.

  • How do you quote unique illustrations/artworks?

This quoting method is very similar to our mural quotes, the details we will need from you are the subject, the size of the artwork, the surface you’d like (canvas, paper, other), materials we will need, and what technique you prefer. If you aren’t sure of what details you would like, we will organise a catch-up to talk about the project, you can do this by submitting an enquiry.

  • How do you design websites?

We specialise in customising your website through the Squarespace platform. Whether you have an existing website and looking for a fresh look or a completely new business, this style of the website covers the basic necessities to make you accessible and reliable online. Send through an enquiry to find out more about what’s included.

  • I created my own logo in Canva, can you update it for printing signage?

Yes, we can. It’s important that you have vectorised versions of your logo for printing, this ensures your logo won’t pixelate/distort. The cost of this process varies depending on the level of detail needed. You can send an image of your logo to lara@shipleestudio.com so we can give you an accurate quote.

  • Do you design Wedding Stationery?

We do! We can put together a custom quote for you that includes exactly what you need creating. If you’d like to find out prices, please send through an enquiry.

  • I'd like my wedding sign hand painted, what is this process?

After we work out the size, material, paint colours, deadline, and any other details, we will give you a custom quote. It will be your responsibility to organise the material you need us to paint on, you can deliver it or we can pick it up when we will schedule a catch-up. Then we bring this back to our studio to finish, and have it ready for delivery or pick up before your special day!

  • Do you provide administrative support or account setup services?

No — I offer creative services only. My role is as a graphic designer, illustrator, and artist. Tasks like setting up third-party accounts, purchasing domains, or creating logins on your behalf fall outside the scope of my services.

  • Can you buy domains or set up software for me?

That’s not something I provide as part of my design services. I’m happy to guide you through the process or recommend a provider, but I don’t make purchases or manage subscriptions on your behalf.

  • Will you speak to my printer, web host, or other suppliers?

I’ll happily collaborate with third parties when outlined in your custom proposal — and with you involved. If supplier liaison is required, this will be stated clearly in the scope of our project. Otherwise, communication with external providers remains your responsibility.

  • What exactly do you offer then?

I specialise in creative direction, graphic design, brand development, and illustration. Think of me as your creative partner — not an admin assistant. I bring your brand visuals to life, but won’t take over your tech setup or supplier negotiations (unless arranged as part of the project).
