Project Details

“The Junkyard” as it’s fondly referred to, is a haven for all members of the community both within Maitland & its surrounds. Lending itself to all walks of life, you’re able to step into the pub and find a space that suits you no matter your agenda.

The newly developed Ray’s Pizza Joint gives a Detroit Style Pizza option whether you’re looking to pack a table out with family, line the benches in the beer garden with mates for a casual drink, sit solo at the bar with your dog at your heel, or throw shapes on the dance floor while bands rock out on the stage. They have room for all.

Amber gifted the Junkyard with a custom painting - a silhouette of the pub encased in abstract texture and colours.

The recently renovated beer garden is a tribute to Peter Roose, the previous owner who passed away. We were honoured to design the sign hanging in this new event area and paint a mural to finish off the space.
