GURRU
Gurru is an Aboriginal-led mentoring initiative founded by Jayden Wright, a proud Dunghutti man. Built from his personal journey of healing, cultural strength and community connection, Gurru exists to create safe, culturally grounded spaces that support identity, leadership and wellbeing.
The brief was to develop a brand that could honour this depth while presenting the initiative with clarity and confidence. It needed to move beyond a DIY feel and become something more cohesive and professional — without losing the integrity of the story behind it.
The brand also needed to support growth, helping Gurru reach more people, build trust within community and position itself as a strong, recognisable initiative with lasting impact.
What We Did
Brand Identity Creation
Social Media Templates
Gurru now has a brand that reflects the strength, purpose and cultural grounding at the heart of the initiative.
The identity brings clarity and consistency to how Gurru presents itself, making it easier for people to understand, connect with and trust the work being done. The visual language feels considered and respectful, supporting the message without overpowering it.
Across social platforms, the introduction of branded templates has created a more cohesive presence, helping the initiative communicate more confidently and reach a wider audience.
The result is a brand that feels aligned with its purpose — supporting both community connection and future growth, while honouring the story it’s built on.
“Grateful to work with people who understand the heart behind what I’m building - culture, connection and creating something that will support our mob for years to come.”
